Junyu received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Institutes of Biomedical Sciences, Fudan University in 2013. He joined the Department of Reproductive Genetics, International Peace Maternity and Child Health Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2013. He is mainly responsible for the clinical molecular diagnosis of monogenic diseases, including NGS-based proband/carrier diagnosis, pedigree analysis, prenatal/preimplantation genetic diagnosis, sequence variants interpretation and bioinformatics. His research focuses on identifying the genetic etiology of birth defects including embryo-fetal original adult diseases and monogenic diseases.
